3 Delicious Chocolate Desserts To Make This Chocolate Day!!

Valentine’s week has started and the chocolate day is on 7th Feb 2018. So, we have listed the best chocolate dessert recipes that you can easily make it for your partner and they are the best for the chocolate lovers too.

1. Mississippi Mud Pie

Total Time: 4 hours

You Will Need:

a) 1 3/4 cups sugar
b) 4 large eggs
c) 1 store-bought piecrust
d) 3 cup vanilla or mocha ice cream
e) 1 piece unsalted butter
f) 3 tbsp fudge sauce
g) 4 tbsp cocoa
h) 1 tsp vanilla extract
i) 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

a) Preheat the oven to about 45 degrees Fahrenheit.
b) Line crust with parchment paper sun-dried beans.
c) Bake it till the dough gets light golden and set (10 to 15 minutes).
d) Eliminate the pie and cool it down on a wire rack.
e) Lower the oven heat temperature to 350 degrees F.
f) Stir butter, cocoa, and butter in a bowl till it gets mixed well.
g) Add eggs, vanilla, and flour and combine it till it gets smooth.
h) Transfer the blend into the prepared crust and bake it for about 30 to 40 minutes.
i) Eliminate the piece from the oven and cool it wholly on a wire rack.

You Will Need:

a) 4 medium size bananas
b) Pinch of salt
c) 1 cup chopped carrots
d) 1 tsp vanilla extract or 1/2 tsp vanilla powder
e) 1.75 cup all-purpose flour
f) 1/2 cup oil/melted butter
g) 3/4 Demerara sugar or sugar powder
h) 1 cup milk or water
i) 1 tsp baking soda
j) 3/4 cup cocoa powder
k) 1/2 tsp baking powder

For the chocolate icing:

a) 1/2 cup oil/butter
b) 125 grams dark chocolate
c) Icing sugar or sugar powder as needed (optional)


a) Grease and prepare the 6 to 7 inches diameter rounded cake pan.
b) Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius or 356 degrees F.
c) Sieve the flour with salt, baking powder, cocoa powder and baking soda
d) Puree the carrots and bananas in a blender.
e) Combine the liquid ingredients, i.e., carrot-banana puree, oil, and water.
f) Add Demerara sugar to this liquid blend and combine well.
g) Now, add the liquid blend to the dry ones and mix well.

h) Add vanilla powder or vanilla extract and mix it well.
i) Transfer it to the greased pan and bake it in the preheated oven at about 180 degrees Celsius (or 356 degrees F) for nearly 25 to 40 minutes.

For the chocolate icing:

a) Cut the chocolate and melt it with oil in a pan or double boiler.
b) Avoid overcooking it and mix well.
c) Leave it to cool down, and you can even microwave both the oil and chocolate on medium heat till it gets melted.
d) Eliminate it from the microwave and combine the icing well.

For icing cake:

a) Eliminate it from the pan when it gets cooled.
b) Now, spread the chocolate icing directly using a palette knife on the top of your cake.

c) You can even transfer the icing to a piped bag and do the icing on the top.

3. Chocolate Whipped Cream Cake

You Will Need:

a) 1/2 cup canola oil
b) 1 cup milk
c) 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
d) 1 tsp salt
e) 2 large eggs
f) 1 and 1/2 tsp baking powder
g) 2 tbsp granulated sugar
h) 2 tbsp anisette liqueur
i) 2 tsp vanilla extract
j) 1 and 1/2 cup heavy cream
k) 1 and 1/2 tsp baking soda
l) 1 and 1/2 tsp confectioners’ sugar
m) 2 1/4 cup granulated sugar
n) 1 and 1/2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
o) 3/4 cups unsweetened cocoa
p) 1 cup Mini chocolate chips

For making the cake:

a) Heat the oven to about 350 degrees Fahrenheit and butter the base of two 9 inches rounded cake pans.
b) Fit with the two circles parchment paper and butter the paper along with sides of the pan.
c) Dust it with flour and keep it to one side.
d) Take a small saucepan of water and boil.
e) Mix the flour, granulated sugar, salt, cocoa, baking powder and baking soda in a big bowl.
f) Beat the milk, eggs, oil, vanilla and anisette liqueur in a mixer over medium heat for 2 minutes.
g) Lower the speed to low and add boiled water to it.
h) Divide the blend between the prepared pans and bake it till the wooden skewer in the center of the cake gets clean (35 minutes).
i) Cool it down by putting it on the wire rack for ten minutes.
j) Unmold the cake and come back to the wire rack till it gets wholly cooled.

For frosting:

a) Beat the confectioners’ sugar and heavy cream till you get soft peaks.
b) Softly, fold the rest 1/4 cup (2 tablespoons) granulated sugar and 1 and 1/2 tbsp cocoa till it gets well mixed.

For assembling cake:

a) Put one layer on a cake plate.
b) Now, spread a third layer frosting over this.
c) Sprinkle with the half of chocolate chips.
d) Top it with the leftover layer and spread the rest frosting over the top and sides.
e) Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips and serve it immediately.
f) You can even put it in the fridge.
